Florida High School Basketball - Satellite fells Merritt Island

December 4, 2023: Satellite Beach, FL 32937

Satellite Scorpions (Satellite Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), 70-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Satellite upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Titusville (Titusville, FL) to clash with the Terriers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Titusville lost 71-61 in their recent non-league bout against University (Orlando, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Merritt Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 61-40 non-league win over St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
