Illinois High School Basketball - Pontiac ripped by Bishop McNamara
December 4, 2023: Kankakee, IL 60901 The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Pontiac Indians to 37 in the Fightin' Irish non-league triumph on Monday.
The Fightin' Irish now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Timothy Christian for a Chicagoland Christian contest on Tuesday, December 5. Bishop McNamara will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-24 non-league win over Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.
The Indians (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, El Paso-Gridley triumphed over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 50-29, in a league contest.
