Alabama High School Basketball - Blacksher nips Shields
December 4, 2023: Uriah, AL 36480 Blacksher Bulldogs (Uriah, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shields Panthers (Beatrice, AL), 57-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Blacksher upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Elberta (Elberta, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Elberta lost 60-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL)
Next up, the Panthers play the W.S. Neal Eagles (East Brewton, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Shields will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 50-4 non-league loss to Monroe County (Monroeville, AL).
