Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC) and the host Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC), saw Pelion's basketball squad hold off Horse Creek Academy by a count of 55-49.

With the victory, Pelion upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Gilbert won 62-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC)
