California High School Basketball - Roosevelt can't hold off Huntington Park
December 4, 2023: Huntington Park, CA 90255 The Huntington Park Spartans basketball team scored 29 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 28 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South East for a contest on Wednesday, December 6. Huntington Park will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 28-25 non-league loss to Bravo (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
The Rough Riders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against South East (South Gate, CA). The Jaguars enter the contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, South East was nudged by Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA), 33-25, in a league contest.
