Virginia High School Basketball - Fauquier triumphant over Spotsylvania
December 4, 2024: Spotsylvania, VA 22553 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) and the host Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA), observed Fauquier's basketball team overwhelm Spotsylvania by a score of 91-34.
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Colonels come into the Northwestern challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, James Wood was routed by Clarke County (Berryville, VA), 64-57, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Spotsylvania will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 49-48 league win over Cosby (Midlothian, VA).
