St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), 57-54 in a league match.

With the victory, St. Mary's Ryken advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Knights travel to St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 3-2. St. John's Catholic Prep lost 82-52 in their recent non-league match against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD)

The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosedale Christian Academy for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Our Lady of Good Counsel will face a Rosedale Panthers squad coming off a 53-49 non-league win over McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Rosedale Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
