With the victory, Bassett advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bengals host Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-3. Franklin County lost 49-23 in their recent non-league match against Floyd County (Floyd, VA)
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dan River for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11.
