The Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Richlands Wildcats to 28 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Monarchs now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Topsail for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Northside - Jacksonville will confront a Pirates team coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Richlands falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to confront the Devil Pups in a non-league game on Friday, December 6.
