In Thursday's non-league bout, the Hillman Tigers (Hillman, MI) basketball team were winner over the visiting Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), by a tally of 57-49.

The Tigers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hale for a North Star bout on Monday, December 8.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Owls come into the North Star test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Oscoda was knocked off by Posen (Posen, MI), 42-38, in a league test.
