South Carolina High School Basketball - Cheraw triumphant over Virtus Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) and the visiting Virtus Academy Wolves (Florence, SC), witnessed Cheraw's basketball squad rout Virtus Academy by a count of 63-16.

With the victory, Cheraw advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Braves travel to Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 1-4. Marlboro County lost 41-30 in their recent non-league battle against Darlington (Darlington, SC)

The Wolves now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heathwood Hall Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 10. Virtus Academy will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-4.
