The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), 83-36 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now hold a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corona del Sol for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9. Highland will clash with a Aztecs squad coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Aztecs record now stands at 2-6.
