The Chaparral Firebirds bounced the host Saguaro Sabercats basketball squad by a final score of 59-18 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Firebirds clash with the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A East Sky outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Wolves enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).

The Sabercats (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Crismon (Queen Creek, AZ). The Rattlers enter the non-league outing with a 3-2 record.
