In Thursday's non-league match, the host Lake Placid Dragons basketball squad scored a decisive 40-11 victory over the Frostproof Bulldogs.

With the victory, Lake Placid upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Sebring (Sebring, FL) to face the Blue Streaks in a non-league match on Friday, December 5. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a record of 3-5. Sebring won 34-33 in their recent non-league match against Hardee (Wauchula, FL)

The Bulldogs now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they host LaBelle for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Frostproof will confront a Cowboys/Cowgirls team coming off a 40-24 non-league loss to Barron Collier (Naples, FL). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 3-4.
