John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA), 54-26 in a non-league match.

With the victory, John Ehret upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to West St. John (Edgard, LA) to face the Rams in a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. The Rams go into the contest with a record of 5-1. West St. John lost 43-31 in their recent non-league contest against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA)

In their next game, the Cougars confront the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
