The John Ehret Patriots basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host West Jefferson Buccaneers to 23 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Edna Karr for a non-league game on Thursday, November 20. John Ehret will confront a Cougars team coming off a 51-37 non-league loss to Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, West Jefferson drops to 0-1 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Wednesday, November 19.
