Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS), 9-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Northwest Rankin moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Madison Central (Madison, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 6.
