December 5, 2022: Damascus, VA 24236 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) and the visiting Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA), saw Holston's basketball squad hold off Marion by a tally of 57-53.
With the victory, Holston improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host John Battle (Bristol, VA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. John Battle won 34-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion (Marion, VA)
Next up, the Scarlet Hurricanes confront the Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Marion will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 57-34 non-league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA).
