Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) and the visiting Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), saw Pleasant Grove's basketball squad knock off Parker by a tally of 49-41.

With the victory, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Hueytown (Hueytown, AL) to play the Golden Gophers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Golden Gophers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Hueytown lost 64-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL)
