December 5, 2022: Gatesville, NC 27938 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), saw Pasquotank County's basketball squad wallop Gates County by a tally of 68-46.
With the victory, Pasquotank County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Albemarle School lost 69-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC)
Next up, the Red Barons confront the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Gates County will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 47-35 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC).
