Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Carbondale Area tops Honesdale
December 5, 2023: Carbondale, PA 18407 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Carbondale Area Chargers (Carbondale, PA) and the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), saw Carbondale Area's basketball squad knock off Honesdale by a count of 54-36.
With the victory, Carbondale Area upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Forest City (Forest City, PA) to play the Foresters in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Foresters come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Hornets play the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Honesdale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA).
