Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms Honesdale
December 8, 2023: Taylor, PA 18517 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) and the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Honesdale by a count of 71-49.
With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Hornets play the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Honesdale will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 61-26 non-league win over Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA).
