Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Honesdale upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a Lackawanna 2 bout on Monday, January 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
