Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), 65-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Abington Heights upgrades its record to 17-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Berks Catholic (Reading, PA) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 17-0. Berks Catholic won 53-42 in their recent non-league bout against Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 bout, on Thursday, February 1. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
