Louisiana High School Basketball - DeQuincy tops Elton
December 5, 2023: DeQuincy, LA 70633 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the DeQuincy Tigers (DeQuincy, LA) and the visiting Elton Indians (Elton, LA), saw DeQuincy's basketball squad knock off Elton by a count of 43-30.
With the victory, DeQuincy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Starks (Starks, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Starks won 72-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Harmony Science Academy (Beaumont, TX)
Next up, the Indians play the Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Elton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 61-59 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake, LA).
