The Fairfield Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to 49 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington for a Southern Hills contest on Friday, December 8. Fairfield will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 47-27 non-league loss to Blanchester (Blanchester, OH). The Blue Jays record now stands at 0-2.

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Green (Franklin Furnace, OH). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
