Alabama High School Basketball - Horseshoe Bend trounces Woodland
December 5, 2023: Woodland, AL 36280 The Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) basketball crushed the host Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL), 54-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Generals (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Beulah (Valley, AL). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Beulah walloped Loachapoka (Loachapoka, AL), 68-60, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Ranburne for a 2A Area 9 test on Friday, December 8. Woodland will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-55 non-league win over Wadley (Wadley, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
