Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier Christian Academy nips Johnson Ferry Christian Academy
December 5, 2023: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA), 86-84 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lanier Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Lightning host Killian Hill Christian (Lilburn, GA) to play the Cougars in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 2A bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Killian Hill Christian lost 71-64 in their recent non-league bout against Old Suwanee Christian (Buford, GA)
Next up, the Saints play the New Creation Christian Academy Crusaders (McDonough, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 71-57 league win over Hills Academy (Conyers, GA).
