December 5, 2023: DeKalb, MS 39328 Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Philadelphia Tornadoes (Philadelphia, MS), 61-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kemper County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS) to play the Oilers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Heidelberg lost 54-42 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the McAdams Bulldogs (McAdams, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 8. Philadelphia will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS).
