Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Kiski Area tops New Castle
December 5, 2023: Vandergrift, PA 15690 Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), 56-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kiski Area upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Butler (Butler, PA) to play the Golden Tornado in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Golden Tornado come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Butler won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
