The Lee Academy Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting North Delta Green Wave to 47 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun Academy for a MAIS 2A District 1 contest on Friday, January 12.

The Green Wave (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Indianola Academy (Indianola, MS). The Colonels come into the MAIS 4A District 1 contest with a 0-1 record.
