California High School Basketball - Liberty thwarts Santiago
December 5, 2023: Corona, CA 92881 The Liberty Bison (Winchester, CA) basketball knocked off the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), 66-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bison (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Orange Vista notched a victory over Pacific (San Bernardino, CA), 73-20, in a non-league test.
The Sharks now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pacific for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Santiago will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 73-20 non-league loss to Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-3.
