New York High School Basketball - New Dorp knocked off by Tottenville
December 5, 2023: Staten Island, NY 10306 The Tottenville Pirates basketball team scored 48 points and held the host New Dorp Central Cougars to 36 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKee Vo-Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Tottenville will meet a Seagulls team coming off a 71-68 non-league win over New Dorp (Staten Island, NY). The Seagulls record now stands at 1-1.
The Central Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Petrides (Staten Island, NY). The enter the PSAL AAA Staten Island contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Petrides ran past Port Richmond (Staten Island, NY), 68-55, in a league contest.
