Virginia High School Basketball - Northwood crushes Twin Valley
December 5, 2023: Pilgrims Knob, VA 24634 Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 66-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Panthers host Castlewood (Castlewood, VA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Twin Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 82-69 non-league loss to Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN).
