Iowa High School Basketball - Urbandale knocked off by Valley
December 5, 2023: Urbandale, IA 50322 The Valley Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Urbandale J-Hawks to 62 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnston for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14.
The J-Hawks (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons enter the Central Iowa Metro - West contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Johnston ran past Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 44-40, in a league contest.
