In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Alexandria Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 88-37 triumph over the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN) in a AAA Section 8 match, on Thursday, December 7. Alexandria will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Lakers enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
