Game Story

North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill overwhelms Kings Mountain

December 5, 2023: Kings Mountain, NC 28086

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC), saw Cox Mill's basketball squad wallop Kings Mountain by a tally of 58-7.

With the victory, Cox Mill improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Charlotte Country Day School won 52-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Kings Mountain will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 68-16 non-league win over York (York, SC).
