December 5, 2023: Jackson, MS 39212 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS) and the host Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS), saw St. Joseph Catholic's basketball squad wallop Hillcrest Christian by a count of 60-20.
With the victory, St. Joseph Catholic upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Clinton Christian Academy lost 45-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS)
Next up, the Cougars play the Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Hillcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 84-28 non-league win over Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA).
