December 5, 2023: Jayton, TX 79528 Jayton Jaybirds (Jayton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX), 39-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jayton upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Jaybirds host Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Van Alstyne lost 36-31 in their recent non-league bout against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Stamford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
