Idaho High School Basketball - Melba overwhelms Marsing
December 5, 2023: Melba, ID 83641 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID) and the visiting Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID), saw Melba's basketball squad wallop Marsing by a tally of 53-20.
With the victory, Melba improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID) to play the Chargers in a 2A Western Idaho challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Cole Valley Christian lost 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Parma (Parma, ID)
Next up, the Huskies play the Notus Pirates (Notus, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Marsing will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 56-12 non-league win over Centennial Baptist (Caldwell, ID).
