New York High School Basketball - Pittsford fells Newark
December 5, 2023: Newark, NY 14513 Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 59-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Pittsford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Our Lady of Mercy (Rochester, NY) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Our Lady of Mercy lost 68-49 in their recent non-league bout against Victor (Victor, NY)
Next up, the Reds play the Greece Athena Trojans (Rochester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Newark will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Gates Chili (Rochester, NY).
