Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and the visiting Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC), saw Halifax Academy's basketball squad hold off Faith Christian by a tally of 37-34.

With the victory, Halifax Academy improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Lawrence Academy won 35-31 in their recent non-league challenge against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, December 8. Faith Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 62-33 non-league loss to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA).
