December 5, 2023: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) basketball felled the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), 50-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Rio Rancho thwarted Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 87-62, in a non-league test.
The Demons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cibola for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. Santa Fe will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 67-33 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
