December 5, 2023: Jacksonville, NC 28546 The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) basketball nipped the host White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), 48-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Swansboro was edged by Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 47-43, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Vikings clash with the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. White Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 69-27 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC).
