Iowa High School Basketball - Albia overwhelms Fairfield
December 5, 2024: Fairfield, IA 52556 The Albia Blue Demons basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Fairfield Trojans to 28 in the Blue Demons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blue Demons now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a South Central game on Friday, December 6. Albia will confront a Rockets team coming off a 78-33 non-league loss to Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Rockets record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Fairfield falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA) to confront the Bloodhounds in a Southeast match on Friday, December 6. The Bloodhounds enter the match with a record of 0-0.
