December 5, 2024: Opelika, AL 36801 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Opelika Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 46-42 triumph over the Benjamin Russell Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Handley nipped LaFayette (LaFayette, AL), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Central of Coosa County Cougars (Rockford, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6.
