The Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN) basketball crushed the visiting South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN), 96-45 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Dawson-Boyd for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Cherry will play a Blackjacks team coming off a 88-54 league win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Blackjacks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, South Ridge falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host McGregor (McGregor, MN) to play the Mercuries in a A Section 7 bout on Friday, December 13. The Mercuries go into the bout with a record of 0-5. McGregor lost 74-66 in their recent non-league bout against Barnum (Barnum, MN)
