December 5, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21231 Dunbar Poets (Baltimore, MD) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lewis Falcons (Baltimore, MD), 67-4 in a league match.
With the victory, Dunbar advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Poets travel to Southwestern (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Sabers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Sabers enter the match with a record of 0-1. Southwestern lost 63-24 in their recent non-league match against Benjamin Franklin (Baltimore, MD)
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Lewis will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 59-27 league win over Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
