New Mexico High School Basketball - Capital overwhelmed by Pojoaque Valley

In Thursday's non-league test, the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), by a score of 62-30.

Next, the Elks/Elkettes encounter the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record.

The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Los Lunas was routed by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 73-43, in a non-league test.
