New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy fells Capital
January 9, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Capital Jaguars to 46 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chargers now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Manzano for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Albuquerque Academy will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Capital falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 0-6. Valencia lost 65-19 in their recent non-league game against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
